DETAILS OF JCP STAFFS AND STUDENTS ATTENDED THE APTICON ODISHA 2017
A National level convention was held on name APTICON ODISHA 2017 on 19-03-2017 of theme “Pharmaceutical Teaching and Research – An Introspection” at Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. About 15 faculties and 50 students were participated in this convention. Prof. C.K. Kokate was chief speaker of this convention. Our students and faculties were presented 10 nos of poster and one oral presentation. The students those participated in scientific session are Miss. Monalisa Nayak, Miss. Sarala Nayak, Miss Swagatika Tripathy, Miss. Subhasmita Behera, Mr. Subham Sourajit, Miss. Purnima Bihari, Miss. P. Yoshesi and many more under guidance of Dr. Sruti Ranjan Mishra, Dr. B.S. Nayak, Dr. R.P. Padhy, Dr. N. Sahu, Mr. S.K.Martha, Mr. S.K.Panda, Miss. Shilpa Das, Mr. A.K.Rath.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION AT JCP ON 8-03-2017
An International Women’s day was celebrated at Jeypore College of Pharmacy on 08-03-2017. The theme of the day was “Women Be bold for the change”. About 200 students were attended the celebration. All girls and ladies staffs were invited to the function. The meeting was presided by Vice Principal of JCP. The stuendents staffs and vice principal delivered the speech on importance of women empowerment in the society. The role f women are vital for development of society as well as India.

JCP ANNUAL FUNCTION CELEBRATION ON 23-02-2017
The Annual Function 2017 was celebrated in Jeypore College of Pharmacy premises on 23-02-2017. The program was started from 11 am onwards. All the students, staffs of JCP, management staffs of BDT, parents, guest, media guest were participated in the program. The chief guest was Dr. Jagadeesh Panda (Principal, Raghu College of Pharmacy, Vizayanagram, A.P.), chief speaker was Mr. Mihir Kumar Kar (President, APTI Odisha Branch, Bhubaneswar). The meeting was presided by Sri. Srinivas Mishra (Chairman, BDT). The Prof. P. Ellaiah (Director Academic, JCP) and Prof. (Dr.) Sruti Ranjan Mishra were dignitaries on the dice. The program was divided by 1st session i.e. meeting followed by lunch and followed by cultural program. The function was started with National Anthem song, welcome to dignitaries on to the dice, inauguration of function by lightening the candle followed by prayer song. All dignitaries delivered speech on importance of pharmacy in society, role of pharmacist, need of making one ideal pharmacist and Dr. S.R. Mishra address to the students to become like smart phone i.e. to become proactive in the profession. The speech was followed by prize distribution for winner and runner up of various events conducted in Annual sports. The students were receiving trophy from dignitaries with much cheerfulness. The toppers of every year of M., B., D. Pharmacy were also awarded. The students of JCP presented cultural program including sons, dance, drama, mimicry etc. All dignitaries, guests, staffs and students were enjoyed a lot the cultural program. The program was ended with group dance of students of B.Pharm final year.

ANNUAL SPORTS 2016-17 CELEBRATION FROM 2-2-17 to 4-2-17
The Annual sport 2017 was celebrated in Jeypore College of Pharmacy premises from 02-02-2017 to 04-02-2017. In this event the students of M.Pharmacy, B. Pharmacy, D. Pharmacy and staffs were participated. The annual sport was conducted in college premises and play ground. The events were Rangoli for girls, Music chair for girls, 100 m running for boys and girls, song, debate, quiz, essay, lemon spoon, cricket and volley ball. The Annual sport 2017 was inaugurated by vice Principal Dr. Bhabani Shnakar Nayak in presence of Mr. S.K.Martha, Mrs.P.K. Sahu, Mr. S.K.Panda, Dr. N. Sahu, Mr. Binayak Dakua, students and staffs. The overall sports were co-ordinate by Mrs. Pratit Kanchan Sahu, Mr. Amrit Kumar Rath and Mr. Saswat Kumar Rath. The different staffs were assigned to conduct different events. The cricket match winner was B.Pharm 2nd year students and runner up was B. Pharm final year students. The volley ball winner was B.Pharm 2nd year students and runner up was B. Pharm final year students. In this annual sports all students and staffs were participated and thoroughly enjoyed.

MAA SARASWATI PUJA CELEBRATION AT JCP 2017
Lord Ganesh puja has been celebrated in JCP campus on 1-2-17, organized by students & staffs of JCP. The celebration was leaded by students of B. Pharm 7th semester. All students and staffs of JCP were participated in puja. Puja was followed with distribution of Prasad. All students and staffs of JCP prayed to Lord Maa Saraswati to give peace and prosperity in all life.

WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON 29.01.2017
A law awareness camp was conducted at Jeypore College of Pharmacy premises on 29-01-2017. The theme of program was “The pre-conception and natal diagnostic Technique (Prohibition of sex determination)”. Sri. Ravi Narayan Mishra (The District Head Judge of Jeypore) was the chief guest. All district judges were participated in the program. The convener of program was Dr. Bhabani Shankar Nayak (Vice Principal of JCP). About 200 students were participated in this program. All judges and Sri. Mishra gave speech on above theme. Sri. Mishra told unethically diagnostic test should be stopped for sex determination. There was an open discussion and question hour among all judges and students.

68TH REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION ON 26.01.2017
In JCP 68th Republic day has been celebrated. The students & staffs of both JCP & JSET were participated. The flag was hosted by Mr. Sujit Kumar Martha (Principal I/C). Mr. Sujit Kumar Martha highlighted the history and importance of republic day in India. He also highlighted the current issues of India over which we have to succeed. The program was followed by patriotic song sung by staffs & girls of JCP. Finally all students were distributed with sweets.

PARTICIPATION IN DEBATE, DRAWING AND SONG COMPETITION BY STUDENTS OF JCP IN ABVP ORGANISED MEETING ON EVE OF SRI. SUBHASH BOSE JAYANTI.
On 23-01-2017, on eve of NETAJI SUBASH BOSE JAYANTI a debate competition was conducted by A.B.V.P., Jeypore. Mr. Niranjana Dalapati (B. Pharm 3rd year students) of Jeypore College of Pharmacy participated in the debate competition and won the second prize. The topic of the debate was DEMONITIZATION IN INDIA. Mr. Dhaneswar Pangi, student of B. Pharm 2nd year won the song completion and Mr. Manmohan Padal, stuents of B.Pharm 4th year won the drawing competition. Congratulation to all participated students.

JCP MINI ALUMNI ON EVE OF 68TH IPC ON 18.12.2016
On 18-12-2016, for the first time a mini JCP Alumni was conducted on eve of 68th IPC 2016 at Pharmacy Department, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, A.P. The programe was conducted from 11 am to 2 pm. About 100 members were gathered in meeting. About 50 nos. of Alumni were attended. The Meeting was conducted under the dignitaries Prof. (Dr.) P. Ellaiah (Director Academic, JCP) and Prof. (Dr.) Sruti Ranjan Mishra (Principal cum Director Administrative, JCP). All stafss of JCP were participated in the event. The program was hosted by Mr. S.K.Martha, Dr. R.P.Padhy and Mrs. M.Khdanga. The program was started with welcome to alumni, lightening candle, welcome to dignitaries on dice, introduction by alumni, students interaction with alumni, fixing of next alumni date, vote of thanks and closing of ceremony followed by lunch. All alumni gave speech and motivated students for building their career in pharmacy. From students, staffs and managements of JCP thanks to all alumni for their participation to make this event success.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT BY STUDENTS AND STAFFS OF JEYPOE COLLEGE OF PHARMACY ON 17.12.2017.
On 17-12-2016, about 70 students and 5 staffs of Jeypore College of Pharmacy were visited to GLAND Pharma, Visakhapatnam, A.P. The industrial visit was co-ordinate by our Director Academic Prof. P. Ellaiah. Mr. G. Ganesh, H.R., Gland Pharma was guiding the staffs and students. The students of JCP visited several units and departments of Pharma. Mr. G. Ganesh gave one short seminar to students about Industrial aspects of Pharma profession and scope of Pharma Industry for Pharma Professionals. About two 2-3 hours students were visited industry. This industry visiting helped students to know the practical utility of Pharma science in industrial based and also they knew how various dosage forms are being manufactured in industry. Thanks to all members of GLAND Pharma from Jeypore College of Pharmacy.

PARTICIPATION IN 68TH IPC FROM 16TH TO 18TH DECEMBER 2016
The 68th IPC was conducted at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam from 16th to 18th December 2016. About 80 numbers of students and 15 nos. of staffs were participated in the event. In this event Director administrative cum Principal of JCP Prof. (Dr.) Sruti Ranjan Mishra and Prof. P. Ellaiah were LOC member. Both the faculties and students were participated in scientific session in poster presentation. Dr. Bhabani Shankar Nayak, Mr. Sujit Kumar Martha, Mrs. Manasi Khadanga, Mr. Sangram Keshari Panda (Faculties) were participated in poster presentation. Miss. Monalisha Nayak and Mr. Subham Sourajit (Students) were participated in poster presentation. All the staffs and students were attended many scientific session, EXPO and cultural activities. The 68TH IPC were very much wonderful and informative conference.

PHARMACIST DAY CELEBRATION – PHARMA RALLY BY JCP IN JEYPORE TOWN.
Jeypore College of pharmacy is celebrating the pharmacist day on 25-9-2016 on theme “ Pharmacist: Care for you”. As part of this celebration, an educative and silent Pharma rally was organized on 25-9-16 in jeypore town. The Pharma rally was inaugurated by Smt. Geeta Nanda (Ex chairman), Jeypore Municipality in the Presence of Dr. Bhabani Shankar nayak, Vice Principal. The rally procession marched along the major roads of Jeypore town enlightening the public regarding the importance of pharmacist in health care system with the help of banners and placards. The rally was concluded at the office of the sub collector, jeypore and a memorandum of professional activities of pharmacists with the importance of pharmacist in health care system was handed over to the sub collector – cum sub divisional magistrate, jeypore. Nearly 200 pharmacists’ students and pharmacist had participated in the rally. During the Pharmacist expressed their view that eligible pharmacist may please be appointed by Govt. sector in priority basis. In retail shop of medicine, the Pharmacist be appointed with salary as applicable in Govt. service. The rally was successfully conducted by all the teaching and non teaching staffs of Jeypore College of pharmacy, jeypore.

IPA ALLOCATION DEBATE COMPETITION IN JCP.
Today IPA allocation debate competition was held in JCP on topic “Role of Pharmacist in Treatment and management of life style diseases”. About 31 students of D., B. & M. Pharmacy were participated in debate competition. Satisfactory debate was delivered by almost all students. Mr. Rakesh Nair won the debate competition.

NSS PROGRAM IN JEYPORE COLLEGE OF PHARMACY.
Today NSS students have cleaned the college campus. The NSS program was carried out by supervision of Mr. Jitendra Sadangi and Mr. Sapan Kumar Rath. About 30 students were engaged in cleaning procedure. Some students were involved in plantation of some important plants. In JCP every Tuesday and Saturday NSS program shall be carried out. The cleanliness, plantation, Swachh Bharat program shall be carried out under NSS.

CELEBRATION OF SWACHHATA PAKHWADA IN JCP.
A Swachhata Pakhawada program was held in JCP on 14-9-16. The program was inaugurated by Prof. P. Ellaiah (Director academic, JCP). All staffs and students were present in this program. The program was started with speech of Prof. P. Ellaiah on importance of cleanliness. Prof. P. Ellaiah elaborately explained the aim, objective and utilities of cleanliness. The Vice Principal Dr. B.S. Nayak also delivered speech on importance cleanliness. In this program the campus of college was cleaned by students and staffs of JCP, areas like animal room, canteen, hostel and in all areas. Also old documents and goods were collected for discard.

The teachers day has been celebrated in JCP campus on 5-8-16, organized by students of JCP. The celebration was leaded by students of B. Pharm 5th & 7th semester. All staffs of JCP were present in puja. The programm was started with speech of Vice Principal, Dr. Bhabani Shankar Nayak. Dr. Nayak highlighted the concept of teachers day and relationship between students and teachers. Other staffs and students also delivered speech over this occasion. BLOOD DONATION PROGRAM IN JCP
In JCP Blood donation program was conducted on eve of 70th Independent Day in joint organization of Jeypore College of Pharmacy and Sambad of Jeypore. The program was inaugurated by vice principal, Dr. Bhabani Shankar Nayak. Dr. Nayak appeal all students to participate in this program. Day by day temperature of earth is increasing. For current need of environment, a plantation program is conducted in Jeypore College of Pharmacy on 04.07.2016. In this program 100 students participated. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Bhabani Shankar Nayak (Vice Principal of JCP) along with presence of other staffs. About 200 plants were planted. Dr. Bhabani Shankar Nayak delivered a speech on importance of plantation and encouraged students to do plantation more and more in future.

An annual function 2016 was celebrated in Jeypore College of Pharmacy on 23-04-2016 (Saturday). Dr. S.V. Raman, Director, M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation, Jeypore was chief guest. Mr. Chandan Kumar Giri, Drug inspector, Nabarangapur, was chief speaker. Prof. P. Ellaiah was president of function. The function was continued in presence of principal JCP, Dr. Sruti Ranjan Mishra. All dignitaries gave speech on current status of Pharmacy and its future. All dignitaries presented prizes to all winner students of Annual sports 2016. Felicitation program also conducted for Miss. Swarnaprabha Sahu (BPUT topper 2012-130, Ph.D. awarded to JCP Faculties etc. The function was followed with cultural program. About 300 students were participated in the function. Students presented songs, dance, drama etc. in cultural program.

FAREWELL PARTY FOR B.PHARM FINAL YEAR STUDENTS ORGANISED BY B. PHARM 3RD YEARS STUDENTS.
A farewell meeting for b.pharm final year students organised by b. pharm 3rd year students on 09-04-2016. In the meeting Dr. B.S.Nayak (Vice Principal), Mr. N. Sahu (HOD, B.Pharm), Mrs. P.K.Sahu (HOD, D.Pharm) & Mrs. S.Pani (Class Teacher, B.Pharm 3rd year) were present. All staffs and students of 3rd & 4th year were present. Different activities shown by all students of 4th year as job assigned by 3rd year. The students of 3rd year also arranged lunch for students and staffs. The vice-principal appreciated the 3rd year students for such party. Also adviced 4th year students to forward their free hand to help their juniors during getting job. He also wished 4th year students for their best success.

INAGURATION OF JCP ANNUAL SPORT 2016.
The Annual Sports 2016 of Jeypore College of Pharmacy has been started on 31-03-2016. The sports mainly cricket and volley ball was inaugurated by Dr. Bhabani Shankar Nayak (Vice-Principal, JCP) with mere presence of other staffs and students. The events like cricket, volley ball, music chair, carom, lemon spoon, song, book balancing, quiz, essay and debate were arranged to be organized. The students and staffs were much happy and cheer with inauguration of annual sport 2016.

SCOOTER RIDING & DL CAMP PROGRAMM BY SUPREME HERO, JEYPORE AT JEYPORE COLLEGE OF PHARMACY.
A scooter riding and DL camp program was conducted at Play ground of Jeypore College of Pharmacy on 22-03-2016. The program was organized by Supreme Hero, Jeypore. The program was hosted by Mr. Aman Khurana, Managing Director, Supreme Hero, Jeypore, Mr. Khurana. The chief-guest of the program was RTO, Mr. Prabhat Chandra Pradhan, Koraput. The Miss. Binapani Sethy, Principal (JSET), Dr. Bhabani Shankar Nayak, Vice-Principal (JCP) & Mr. Aswini Kailash Nath, Sr. Marketing manager, Hero, were present in the Programm. The technician of Hero Supreme educated girls about various safety measures while driving. They also learned the skill of driving. At the last they gave Free Learning License.

Dr. Bhabani Shankar Nayak (Associate Professor, JCP) was participated in National Seminar on 19-02-2016 at College of Pharmaceuitcal Scineces, Puri, Odisha, on theme “Current prospective of Nano Technology for Drug Delivery. Prof. Biswajit Mukherjee, Prof. Arup Mukherjee & Prof. R.N. Gupta delivered the seminar. The seminar was very informative. I acquired important knowledge on Nano Technology and its Prospective.

CONDUCT OF DEBATE COMPETITION ON PHARMA VISION 2020: EMPOWERING PHARMA PROFESSION IN ODISHA FOR OPIF 2016.
A debate competition was conducted on 10-02-2016 at seminar hall. About 18 students were participated from different years of D. & B. Pharmacy. The topic of debate was Pharma Vision 2020; Empowering Pharma Profession in Odisha. The debate completion was conducted to select winner for Pharma Convention 2016. Miss. Aparajita Satpathy (Student of 8th semester) won the debate competition and got first prize.

A seminar was conducted at Seminar hall of JCP on 29-01-2016. The seminar was conducted by Miss. P. Kinnare, Manufacturing Officer, Anmol Onchology Pvt. Ltd. (An Ex-Student of JCP) at 11 am. 67TH REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
The 67TH republic day has been celebrated in campus of Jeypore College of Pharmacy on 26.1.2016 at 8 a.m. around 150 persons were gathered in the celebration. The guest was Principal, JSET, did the flag wresting. The ILFS students and staffs were also gathered in celebration. The speech was delivered by Principal, JCP & JSET and also by staffs, students. At the end snacks were distributed.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM BY HERO
For women empowerment, a free driving training and license programme was already been conducted at JCP campus under the joint supervision of RTO, Koraput and Hero Moto Cop., Jeypore. Around 40 girls were participated in the program. ALL girls were well trained up. The JCP college personnel’s were also participated in the program. Jeypore College of Pharmacy students, staffs are thankful to RTO, Koraput and staffs of HERO Moto Cop. for conducting such program in JCP campus.

OBSERVATION OF INDIA CONSTITUTION DAY
The staffs and students of Jeypore College of Pharmacy has observed the India Constitution Day at their college premises on 26.11.2015. Blood Donation Camp
On 13th Nov’ 2015 Jeypore Sub-Divisional label Blood Donation Camp has been organized by HDFC Bank Jeypore with the help of the medical staff of Sub-Divisional Hospital Jeypore at the premises of Jeypore College of Pharmacy. The Director of Jeypore College of Pharmacy Dr. Sruti Ranjan Mishra and staff have hole heartily co-operated to make the camp a grand success. The staff and students of Jeypore College of Pharmacy, Jeypore School of Engineering & Technology and IL & FS Training centre were donated 101 unit blood. Donation of Blood is a holly job which safes life of other needy destitutes. The public convey their thanks to the organizers, management & donors. We pray god let the future o the donor be happy and prosperious.
